Description:
Ministry Function:
The Inventory Counter serves the ministry of Convoy of Hope by helping in several facets of inventory coordination in conjunction with the Supply Chain team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists team members with inventory counting for donation receipts.
Conducts guided inventory rack audits and cycle counts.
Generates and labels pallets for put away.
Fulfills all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Â
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
One or more years of relevant work experience is required.
Exhibits proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Demonstrates ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner.
Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multitask to manage deadlines.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to traverse warehouse areas quickly.
Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.
Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
