Spherion Gainesville, FL is conducting a highly confidential search for an Executive Personal Assistant to a prominent and high-energy business owner and influential community figure with decades of local impact. This Executive is the President and Owner of a successful, established commercial services company and maintains an active schedule spanning business operations, significant political engagement, philanthropic interests, and personal ventures. This role is not purely administrative; we are seeking an indispensable right hand and key gatekeeper who will proactively manage the complex intersection of this individual's professional, civic, and personal life. Gainesville, FL Schedule: FT, M-F 8am - 5pm Pay Rate: $45,000 - $60,000/yr Please email resumes to Laura Barnhouse - laurabarnhouse@spherion.com Responsibilities This is an all-encompassing, high-level position requiring exceptional maturity, strategic thinking, and organizational prowess. Responsibilities include: Executive & Business Management: Own and optimize the Owner's dynamic, ever-changing calendar and complex travel logistics. Filter communications, draft high-level correspondence, and prepare briefs and documents for critical business decisions. Political & Civic Engagement: Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and follow-up for political events, community functions, and high-profile meetings. Prepare concise talking points and background materials for engagements with influential leaders. Personal & Asset Management: Handle sensitive personal and financial matters (e.g., expenses, private correspondence, asset oversight) with unwavering confidentiality. Coordinate family matters with discretion, including appointments and communications.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a confident, exceptionally polished professional with a demonstrated history of supporting a senior Executive or Business Owner in a demanding, high-stakes environment. Key attributes include: Unwavering Discretion: Demonstrable ability to handle the absolute highest level of confidential business, financial, and political information with impeccable integrity and professionalism. Assertive Management: Possess the strength, composure, and self-assurance to effectively manage a demanding schedule, confidently prioritizing, pivoting focus, and anticipating the Executive's needs before they arise. Contextual Fluency: Thrive in an environment that requires seamless transitions between business, political, and personal contexts, demonstrating relational savvy with staff, high-profile figures, and family members alike. Experience & Technical Acumen: Proven experience supporting a senior executive, and expert proficiency in calendar management and business productivity tools, preferably with a minimum of 5 years experience. Preferred Skills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot seamlessly. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence and summarize information effectively. High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and personal matters. Confident and secure in decision-making, able to work independently and anticipate needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools. Flexible and adaptable, with a calm demeanor in a fast-moving, high-demand environment.
