Description:
New Beginnings Preschool is seeking a caring and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for toddlers, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental growth. This role requires dedication to best practices in early childhood education, strong communication with families, and a passion for guiding young children through their early learning experiences.
Qualifications:
Toddler Teacher Job Requirements: -High School Diploma or GED (required) -DCF 40-Hour Child Care Training (must be completed within 90 days of hire) -School Readiness Training Hours (required for all SR-funded classrooms) -Infant and Toddler Appropriate Practices Training (required for Toddler classrooms) -Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) (preferred or in progress) -Previous experience in a child care or preschool setting (required) -Strong understanding of early childhood development -First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred) -Must be able to pass Level II Background Screening -Must demonstrate dependability, patience, and professionalism with children, families, and coworkers
