Description:
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company safety policies. This role requires advanced technical skills, the ability to interpret blueprints, and the leadership to guide apprentices and coordinate with other trades.
Qualifications:
Valid Missouri Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain through Springfield/Greene County jurisdiction).
Minimum of 4–5 years’ electrical experience (post-apprenticeship).
Strong knowledge of NEC and local Springfield codes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Physical ability to work at heights (e.g., ladders, lifts, scaffolding) and in confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
