Description:
The packaging machine operator must operate case packaging machines pursuant to established work instructions and procedures. The operator must keep packaging line machinery and work area clean according to guidelines and expectations and maintain and complete preventive maintenance records as required. The operator must follow all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP'S) and work in manner consistent with all Corporate, regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements. Must be able to operate various forklift equipment when required, along with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have good equipment operating skills, good record keeping skills, and good housekeeping skills. Must have good handwriting abilities, to be neat and legible. Must be able to adhere to and follow established written production policies and procedures. Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Must be able to operate various forklift equipment when required, along with other duties as assigned. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
