Leader for Children’s Ministry Needed
About Us: Weller Community Church is a small Foursquare church with an average weekly attendance of 20 to 30 people. We are located in northeast Springfield, serving families of all ages, primarily of low- to mid- range income. In order to keep growing, we need a dedicated leader for our Children’s Ministry.
Duties:
* Prepare and lead a weekly lesson for a range of ages (5 to pre-teen)
* Coordinate volunteers to ensure weekly coverage for two classrooms
Expect to spend up to 1-1.5 hours outside of class time most weeks for preparation and organization.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
* A sound knowledge of the Bible
* A passion for working with children of all ages
* Good organization and communication skill
