Description:
Battery and Charger Field Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing motive power equipment. This position conducts basic troubleshooting, field and shop repairs, and responds to customer needs. Communication, punctuality and pride of ownership are essential to success at Pyramid Batteries.
Qualifications:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers. Perform preventative services including proper documentation of battery readings and battery neutralization.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
Perform repairs at customer locations and at Marshfield shop.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Read and understand electrical schematics.
Safely operate lift trucks and handling of heavy equipment.
Respond to client needs in a timely manner, while applying great customer service behaviors.
Complete all work order and customer facing documentation while following proper documentation and safety procedures.
Work safely and follow all safety requirements.
Work independently or with a team in a professional manner.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
