Description:
Keep the Assemblies of God campus property structures in a good state of repair including general maintenance work orders, office remodels, build furniture etc.
This position requires involvement in a wide variety of construction areas.
Construct walls / hang and finish sheetrock as per prints.
Hang doors / install windows.
Install drop ceiling grid and tile.
Form, pour and finish concrete.
Lay block / tile.
Qualifications:
1- 2 years if adequate skill level is present when hired.
Mostly on-the-job training over a period of time to gain the necessary working skills and knowledge.
Class E driver license required.
Any completed job-related classes would be a plus.
This person needs to be a self-starter since it is necessary to work alone at times.
Will use a variety of tools to accomplish duties, including but not limited to: saws, drills, planer and joiner, routers, grinders, fork lifts, power dollies, ladders, scaffolding, and driving company vehicles.
Requires consistent lifting of 50 - 100 pounds.
Must be able to safely climb onto and off of forklifts.
