Description:
The Software Support Specialist focuses on delivering outstanding customer support and ensuring smooth operations through effective multitasking and attention to detail. Primary duties include adjusting Salesforce configurations, setting up software for new employees, managing IT support requests, and developing reports and dashboards in Salesforce. The role emphasizes efficiency, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in system processes.


Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manages Salesforce configuration changes, including but not limited to fields, page layouts, record types, and data imports. Facilitates software setup for employee changes and employee onboarding. Handles IT software support tickets, management, prioritization, disposition, and servicing. Creates and troubleshoots Salesforce reports and dashboards. Helps architect new initiatives for efficiency in collecting data into and reporting out of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Documents system configurations and processes, and provides training materials for end users and new hires. Helps maintain health of database by offering support and best practice recommendations. Fulfills other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One or more years of Salesforce experience as a user or administrator is preferred. Possesses strong analytical and data management skills. Demonstrates strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills. Is confident and outgoing, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Exhibits attention to detail and ability to successfully multitask, efficiently and accurately completing each project within time deadlines. Displays strong communication skills for clear explanation of reports and data sets. Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry. Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies. As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization’s religious purposes for which it exists and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities at this time.
