Description:
The Director of feedONE supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by sharing feedONE’s vision and mission and raising support from churches, universities, and corporations. This director serves as a credentialed minister, speaks on behalf of feedONE at churches and conferences, and administers sacraments and conducts religious worship.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership – Helps set direction and helps the feedONE team progress toward five-year goals.
Strategy – Helps build strategy and structure for the Resource Engine. This includes praying, raising funds, establishing and maintaining church and organizational partnerships, and developing resources.
Operational – Creates and aligns systems, tools, and expertise to serve the various partners engaged with feedONE.
Advancement – Speaks in churches; promotes feedONE at conferences, adventures, and events; leads vision trips; and builds face-to-face relationships with potential partners.
Provides for Convoy of Hope chapel ministry as scheduled.
Conducts worship services.
On the field, as a representative of both Convoy of Hope and Convoy’s partner ministries, provides regular devotional teaching and prayer for Convoy of Hope workers.
Provides spiritual counseling to Convoy of Hope team members and volunteers.
Performs sacerdotal functions as requested by Convoy of Hope team members, volunteers, or others, both at the Convoy of Hope offices and on the field.
Fulfills all other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Is an ordained, licensed, or commissioned minister with ministry experience.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Three or more years of pastoral ministry is required. Mission work is preferred.
Is willing and able to travel, both domestically and internationally as requested.
Possesses experience with and understanding of the recurring donation process.
Possesses excellent pastoral relationships from a broad spectrum of geographical locations.
Exhibits excellent presentation skills for casting vision and communicating needs.
Displays excellent interpersonal communication skills for interacting with pastors and other leaders.
Possesses strong organizational skills for handling several projects at one time.
Demonstrates proficiency in PC and software programs, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.
Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
