The Global Human Resources Manager supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope (COH) by managing general human resources functions specific to global offices and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required. - 2+ years HR experience or equivalent experience required, international work experience strongly preferred. - Professional ability to keep all information in strict confidence and operate at the highest level on integrity. - Fluent in Spanish preferred, but not required. - Ability and willingness to travel internationally as needed. - Significant cultural understanding and awareness is required to handle sensitive issues and maintain vital relationships. - Works with optimism, humor and flexibility, commitment to help and support in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment. - Critical thinker who enjoys problem solving and finding solutions. - Ability to provide clear and consistent communication. - Ability to use a PC/Mac and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Serve as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry. - Ability to positively represent the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies. - As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that each staff member embraces the organization's religious purposes for which it exists and not only agrees with its Statement of Faith but demonstrates it in their lives on an ongoing basis.
