Description:

This position is responsible for responding to assigned Help Desk tickets in supporting company PC’s, applications, and peripheral hardware. The Help Desk Technician will respond to assigned tickets by resolving desktop hardware/software problems via phone support, email, remote control, and “on-site” service and documenting the issue and resolution in the Help Desk ticket. They will coordinate with other IT specialists to resolve problems when necessary. Training or experience in supporting PCs and their peripherals in a Windows networked environment is preferred. Some college-level coursework in Information Technology is desirable. Experience at a Computer Help Desk is desired, preferably 2+ years. Other certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSA, and CCNA are beneficial. Obtaining A+ certification is required within the first 90 days. This position reports to and works directly with the IT Manager.


Qualifications:

Training or experience in supporting PCs and their peripherals in a Windows networked environment is preferred. Some college-level coursework in Information Technology is desirable. Experience at a Computer Help Desk is desired, preferably 2+ years. Other certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSA, and CCNA are beneficial. Obtaining A+ certification is required within the first 90 days.
