Ed joined the Radio Training Network (RTN) team in September of 2019. With over 25 years of nonprofit experience and an MBA, he brings a wealth of experience in philanthropic giving and donor relations. Serving as the Chief Development Officer for an organization dedicated to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Ed overhauled their marketing efforts and launched a 3.5-million-dollar first-ever comprehensive campaign for the organization while also helping to reshape corporate culture.
With an extensive background in higher education, Ed took on the role of Director of Marketing in 2010, rebranding a university and helping to set the stage for an enrollment surge from 2,300 students to now exceeding 8,000 students. His work also extended to the Director of Alumni and External Relations positions and has been instrumental in securing large gifts for the university over a nearly thirteen year period on staff starting back in 1999.
Though he has a tremendous passion for people, fundraising, marketing, and public speaking, his foremost passion is his heart for his family. Ed has two children, a daughter who is a Crown Scholar at UNCC and a son who is following his passion of serving our country by preparing to enlist in the United States Air Force.
